i have a 95 del sol.. what engine would be cheap and easy and make about 60 more hp than the stock peice of junk in their? i would rather buy a front clip and swap it out that way.. i dont want to build any frankenstein motor or wildly expensive combination. just some thing that will bolt up and work.

 

Umm B16A or B18C1

Del Sol S = 102 HP
B16A = 160 HP
B18C1 = 170 HP

IMO, spend a little extra to get the B18C1.

 

go with the B16A

 

what model Sol do you have? and as stated before, b16 or b18c1

the b18c1 will have more torque and feel faster.
