b20vtec. gsr head/b20 bottom end.
I dropped it in and wired everything up and the car will not start. I had a CEL but it was for iat. i think i had the wrong plug init. so i switched it out and no i have no CEL. The car cranks but will not turn over. I checked the plugs and im getting spark. Im getting fuel. im going to double check it again today. I dont know where the problem is.

yeah i checked the compression on it yesterday and im getting 270-260-270-280 across the board. so im good on that. how can i adjust the timing besides at the dizzy? yeah it cranks but doesnt turn over though.
You want to make sure that your cams are in time with your crank.
If you have adjustable cam gears, reset them both to "0". Using the pistol sight on the lower timing cover, line up the TDC mark on the crank pulley. The TDC marks on your cam gears should also match at this point. For your distributor, notice that the bolt holes are slotted. Loosed the bolts and center the distributor slots around the bolts. That is close enough to get you started. Also double check your firing order. If the spark plug wires are not in the correct order, your motor will not run, Either at all or happily.
