Anyone have a how to or a couple of tips on removing the cluster? I know there are EG cluster how to's but they are different.

Thanks in advance.

First, remove the two screws that hold in the panel above the cluster. Once removed, pull that panel out. While pulled forward, unplug the green plugs for aux lights, cruise, hazards, etc. The are all different, so you can't mix them up.
Next, there is a metal bracket at the top of the gauge cluster. Unscrew the one screw that connects it to the dash.
On each side of the gauge cluster, remove one screw. After that, pull the cluster forward and unplug each plug.
Voila.

Grow up.

He's 16. You have to start somewhere. Even I need instructions every once in a while to take something apart without breaking it, and I disassemble Honda cars for a living.

Thanks targa250R

I wanted the how to so I knew what to expect. The last thing I wanted was to break something.

If you think im incapable, then thats your opinion, but yes I am 16 and im doing a full b series swap, a brake swap all the way around with discs on the rear, adding A/C, swapping power steering into the car, and ALOT more. Oh, did I mention I havent done very much to a car before.

Its a learning process, and I'll take all the help I can get.

Does that one have a blue cover?

If so then I do have one, but one of my friends 'borrowed it' and he's had it for a few months.

I'll def get it back.
