I found some 81mm JE pistons and Crower rods locally, and the guy sent me a picture of them:

Are the pistons in decent shape? How do the sides and tops look?

Suggested places to get JE rings from...besides JE?
Typical pricing for a new set?

If they don't have discoloration or warpage from heat issues, all dimensions are w/in spec (roundness/diameters), don't have severe scuffing on the skirts, and get new rings - they should be fine. I'd have posted a few days ago, but my 5mbit cable line can't load super-gigantic size pictures very fast.
Just make sure the machinist hones the block to each piston if they mic out differently.

take the rods to a good machine shop, and have them checked for straightness, check the big end for size and the small end for bushing wear, if all is good, replace the bolts and use em.
Pistons look good just get them cleaned. Do what the guy above said get the rods checked out and you should get the rod bolts replaced.
