i bought a 93 del sol with a 97 gsr B18C1 swap. car was running cherry until yesterday when all of a sudden the car started to sputter and i couldn't rev past 3500rpm. i turned off the engine and the problem went away for a while. it has now come back and i'm stuck. what should i check? any help will be appreciated!

yup. the guy said because the motor is obd2 and the car is obd1 that the secondary sensor will throw the cel.

Go to autozones and check your CEL's

BTW, your experiencing Limp Mode, it happens when something is seriously wrong with your car, and your ECU senses this. It then runs rich (or lean, I cant remember) and puts a revlimiter at 3500, which keeps you from really messing anything up. Get your codes pulled, and get back to us.
