Re: slow cars (Acura_Integra_Type_R)
What were you shifting at?
It sounds like you have an automatic...but I don't know because you haven't told us.
Please, model, year, engine, trans, etc. for more help.

Not according to his signature, or the fact that he posted this question in the Integra forum as well.

Oh well, I suppose a H/A motor's an H/A motor . Probably figured there's more people here. ****, I've had my post for like a week in the accord forum and nobody's came along that could answer it.
(God for bid a tech Q is asked instead of some garbage about folding mirrors or retracting parking polls)

You've got a problem similar to mine...but worse. Could be a lot of things: tune up, replace fuel filter, u might be running rich...off the top thats what i can think of. Search around!

Re: slow cars (Acura_Integra_Type_R)
look into doin some regular maintenace to your engine, and also look for anything obvious on your braking system?
have you driven it since?
not to be a dick or anything but by you saying it happened directly after leaving the bank...are you sure you took off the e-brake?

Fuel filter, check your plugs, could possibly be your ignition coil starting to go out but that is usually sudden.
Maybe bad gas.
First check your air filter just to eliminate that.
Second check your spark to make sure you are getting good spark to all 4 wires. If those are good then most likely fuel delivery.
Since your injectors are opening it thinks fuel is added. Your o2 sensor probably thinks it is compensating well enough by adding injector pulse width.
One way to check gas is to take fuel line off at the fuel rail. Get a glass jar or cut the top off a mountain dew can or something and rinse out and dry.
Have a buddy prime the fuel from the line into the can. 2 seconds worth will net about `1/4 can fuel. Let sit 20 minutes and inspect gas and see if anything settle to the bottom.
If it looks good then you can eliminate dirty fuel. Or you could even try this pre-filter to inspect the tank.

i have a 94 civic dx manual.
this happened to me twice...
first time it was sudden and my ignition went out, which really sucked cuase i was out of town...
happened again about 2 week ago on the freeway in 5th gear, was running fine and wen i gave it more gas to slowly pass this car it felt like it was bogging down. like as if there was a rope tied to my tow hook and an invisible tow truck was trying to stop me. then it would go away. did it the whole way home from work. really weird... hasnt happened since though and no cel
