Default Catalytic Converter Problems.. please help..

Ok.. heres the deal.. two years ago i "upgraded" to a magnaflow catalytic converter. Roughly 6 months after having it installed i started to get the 67 code meaning the cat was working inefficiently, then the catalyst inside began to rattle huge. I went and purchased a direct fit replacement, now one year later... i still have the code and yet another catalytic converter is fried and rattling like pop cans dragging under my car. The car in question is a 2000 acura integra LS, only engine type mods are intake, header and exhaust. My car was fine with the stock catalytic converter. I cant see why my car would be dumping fuel and frying the cats....??? From what i understand code 67 has nothing to do with your A/F. Is it possible my timing is off???? what other reason is there that this keeps happening. I just dont want to buy another cat and have it crap out before my e-test in november. Any help or info is appreciated.
thanks

Try replacing your o2 sensor(s) if you keep killing cats your computer might be blind. Meaning that it cant see or is not seeing the correct a/f that is actully exiting your engine.

if the primary o2 was gone.. would it throw a code saying so? just curious, im pretty sure the second o2 is gone... but from what i've read it only read efficiency of the cat and doesnt effect the a/f

I'm having a similar issue but instead at start up. i just fried my cat today after finishing my swap back to stock crx si. i saw my cat turn HOT RED now the fiber inside is gone and rattling. the engine was only up for less then a min. i start to hear small backfires. i pulled the cat off and started the car only with headers and got 2 loud *** back fires.

i think an issue that is similar mite be causing ur engine to eat up cats.
