i keep hearing about people say you better get papers for your motor. (not mine) But i just buoght my d15b vtec from h motorsonline today and i paid cash. i bought from them before and the never gave me papers for anything but my receipt. i guess they must be talkin about when you go and get your car barred at the referee. please fill me in and let me know what they are talkin about and what i have to do. oh yeah what the hell is WOT?

papers? what papers are you talking about, i got a motor from a sac shop and just got a yellow reciept, i then got the car reffed.

I wish I had papers! Then I could trouble shoot much easier. I would love to know every little detail about my motor, but somehow I don't think that that is going to happen in this life time. Good luck!

Just save your receipt that proves you paid for the motor.

 

The receipt is your "papers"

I keep a photocopy of the receipt, the shipping label, and the copy of certified US postal money order I used to pay for it, in the car with my registration just in case.

my friend who is swapping the motor for me told me that i dont have to worry about it becuz its a sohc motor and we can just get the old school valve cover that just honda on it and take it to get smogged. the shouldn't knw the difference. plus the cops wont trip because the only look for dohc motors now.
