Default Phillips Halogen upgrades....

Has anyone seen or have any of the Phillips halogen bulb upgrades? They have Blue vision, vision plus, premium, allweather, and silver vision. They are at http://autolamps-online.com/halogen/index.htm if you want to look at them.

I bought a shitty pair of " Hiper Whites" 9006's for $20 and I regret it because although the light is whiter, I think the light emitted is worse than my stock headlights, especially in terms of distance down the road. I even aligned my headlights and they still don't help much.

I am considering purchasing a pair of these or maybe just getting silverstar 9005's. Thanks for any input.

Why waste money on halogens? Go HID. I did and it was the best $500 I could have spent on my car.

well I could think of 100 better things to spend $500 on than some lights..I mean if I had the money yea but I'm also trying to save money to build my suspension...

$50 isn't going to cost me an arm and a leg so I think it's more feasible.

The 9005 is a very good upgrade. Do a search though. This has become a trend in the last few months, and there must be at least 20 posts regarding this.

do the silverstar conversion, thats what I currently have....its a hell of a lot brighter than stock....

take 9005 sylvania silverstar bulbs from auto parts store, shave it down a bit, and then plug into the 9006 socket. 50 bucks (25 per bulb) and you're set.

How can you deny this? HID's are the way to go...

gotta admit those beams are dead sexy

I've read plenty about the 9005 silverstar conversion, I was just wondering if anyone had any versions of the phillips halogens cuz I haven't heard anything about them.
