Default 01 CLt-s tranny problem

Hi guys. so my friend has an 01 acura cl type s with like 85k miles on it. its triptronic tranny and last week it started to slip or jerk really bad when shifting gears, any of you guys have any idea why it would do that? when its in gear its fine but when it shifts gears it slams bad. any help would be apreaciated;

unless your car is salvage titled, transmission is covered under a 100K 7 year warranty from the "In service date" This was recently was a lawsiuit settled in california where the warranty was extended by 9 months and 9K miles for a total of 7 years 9 months or 109K miles. Acura will provide you with a loaner free of charge while your car is fixed under warranty...

it should be covered by warranty, my suggestion for you is to get it fixed and sell it. then rebuy a CL-S 6-speed (no trans problem)

the car has a rebuilt title. so i guess hes fked in the but huh?

yeah, pretty much, get a NEW transmission installed
