Default i dont know why my previous thread was locked??

personallly i thought it was a good topic... all i want is a decent alarm system that came with and back up power source a knock sensor and a siren... and thats it nothing else, i can do my own work and hide everything... i have a 88 crx and i swapped the b16a1 in it and i can handle an alarm.... but i dont want to spend 300 dollars for an arsenal of wires, and programming. i just want the basics, i dont have power windows or locks.. i drive a stick and live on a hill i dont need remote start. All i need is a decent brand anme with the very basics...

Ohh and by the way eager beaver sti eater i am glad you made the assumption about me that i am in a rush... the only reason i am asking this question is so i can protect my car alitte more withought paying as much as i did for my frame... From personal experience my car has been stolen once and atempt of theft another time so im not in a rush to get an alarm.... i just want to protect my engine that i installed...

hey you can rhyme Well if I was you I would be in a rush to get a alarm too. Most alarms are going to be the same as wires go. Remote start even more. So to end this look into a dei brand alarm. The alarm is as good as the install. So read the sticky and start planning.

Because you're asking a question that has been answered literally hundreds of times on this forum... Search and read. There are a few very well written FAQ's around here....

I locked you because you bumped your thread in 4 minutes and because you asked extremely common questions without searcing or reading the sticky. I'm considering whether it's necessary to write a forum rules sticky. For the most part, the regulars here do their own police-ing.

If I write some rules, the first would be NO BUMPING. This forum moves very slow and it can literally take days for your post to move onto the next page. If your question hasn't been answered by then, it's not going to get answered.

Basically I want to see a clean forum where good topics can linger and not get pushed down by repeated questions and people needlessly bumping their thread. Use some common courtesy please.

You can get a DEI alarm w/out any frills at Circuit City or Best Buy for a little over $100 INSTALLED.
