Default Clutch Soft And Spongy?

I got my clutch installed awhile back it was soft, but i thought it was suppose to be like that until a honda technician test drove my car and said that the clutch wasnt bled. So i bled the clutch, this is what i did, my friend in the car, i had a tube and a bottle to attach to the nipple on the slave cylinder, she pressed down the clutch 3 times and then held it down. i turned loose the nipple until i saw fluid come out. i notice some air bubbles and repeated until there was no more airbubbles. when i was done, the clutch was still the same. so what went wrong? and how could i fix it. thanks in advance.

i got a 93 dx it had a soft clutch from the factory. got it replaced after it wore out and its still soft. its normal. dont fix something thats not broke. many techs have driven my car and never said a thing about it. if u bleed it and theres no bubbles i wouldnt worry.

i agree with the others, the only other thing that i could possibly think about is the clutch master cyl going bad, mine felt spongie right before it started leaking fluid onto my carpet....

i just replaced my master cylinder yesterday.

look under your dash at the clutch master cylinder. if its leaking, you will see a nice amount of fluid/grease under there.

its really easy to replace a clutch mc.

two 12mm hold it to the firewall

1 10mm on the brake line on the mc.

1 12mm holds the plunger to the pedal.

2 10mm bolts hold the resevoir onto the shock tower
