i recently bought a gsr from a dealer, bone stock. anyway, there was a sort of rattling sound coming from the engine and i just assumed it was an exhaust leak. i didn't look at it close. after changing the header the sound is still there of course. it sounds like it's coming from underneath the valve cover and the sound seems to be more obvious while the engine is still cold and cane hear it best around 4k rpms. anyway, heres a list of what the dealer had maintenance done on:
oil change, cam plug, valve cover gasket, spark plug tube seals, vtec pump gasket, ac compressor and ac receiver dryer.
any help is greatly appreciated, but if all else fails i'll just take it to a mechanic and let them take a look...

ok yeah, this is my account now i guess since i couldn't get into my account for whatever reason... anyway, it does sound like a tapping noise in the head. it has 154k miles.
