Clutch suggestions again ..... did a search.
I've been in the market for a new clutch. I can't get any straight answers regarding which is mostly preferred.
I hear alot about Exedy and its problems with constant adjusting.
I hear ACT has a tendancy to tear apart. Not too much is known about their new reinforced PP.
CLutchmasters .... I was told to stay away.
Application: Street driven with road course racing on the weekends during the summer months. And an occasional trip to the strip.
Any suggestions and experiences???

Alot of peeps just go with the Exedy racing clutch (organic disk) for the once in a while track/strip use. I had to go one step further

I'm readin alot about these different clutches but I don't hear too much about the "feel" on a road course.
Anyone.
Austin - your post sounds very convincing. Kush-lock ... sounds good but durability???? Still questionable.

i just ordered me a Exedy Racing clutch with the organic disc today from Clutch city online for $269 shipped to my door. I'll be using it with my Exedy cromaly flywheel when I drop my tranny.
I had a Exedy clutch before with the 3-puck disc, but this time I went with the full face street one.
The ACT I currently have is giving me problems.

if you install the Exedy properly and perhaps one proper pedal adjustment that should be all you need. It does not need any adjustment if done right upon installation. Mine had been flawless, and the pedal adjustment is pretty much idiot-proof, so not much to screw up. I don't know much about longevity of organic full face discs, but I am hoping they hold in the long term. Seems to work well on my car so far, I am very happy with it.

VTEC-MAN95GSR, tell me about your experience with the Exedy 3puck disc? Why are you changing to a full face type now? Cheers!
