need help with the keyed shaft on the distributor

Default please help

i have a kind of stupid ? but i need the help please at the end of the distributer the little washer type piece with two teeth on it wut is that called please help need that to get back on the road and am havin a bit of a prob findin it please help thanks

I'm lost, what part is it your talking about?

the only part I can think of is the shaft on the end of the distributor that has off center keys that goes into the slots in the camshaft inside the head.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm almost positive thats not a part you can just buy. You need to buy a new distributor if you need replace that part. Or a used one from somewhere.

Looking at Majestic Honda and San Leandro Honda online parts websites I don't see that part listed anywhere.

o really cuz ive been tryin to look for a distributer round here strugglin any body got a junk one layin around lol thanks for all the help

What year/model Accord do you have?

Also, if you want to post a WTB, post it in the Accord FS/WTB sticky at the top of the forum, don't turn this into a WTB thread.

Try car-part.com It's an online listing of junkyards and their inventory. You may be able to find something at a local junkyard.
