Wiring Gauge
Well im trying to wire my boost gauge to my dash light setter. (the manual control that you can set how much light is used on the dash) question is do i need a bigger fuse because its not turning the light on for the gauge unless i dont allow the dash to light up.

you wired it wrong. You have to take the ground from the gauge and tie it into the dimming wire at the dimmer. If you dont know which one use a test light and turn the dimmer switch. When the light starts to dim with the switch, tap that wire.
meh i already just tapped it to fuse box for now..thing is it stays on all the time now..lol
well i had it wired red to red black to black and had an extra wire comming off the dimmer which was red/black.

you tapped it wrong...I just told you how to do it. you can get test lights at autoparts stores pretty cheap...my friend picked one up for like 10 dollars. Or give me all the color wires coming out of your tach and Ill tell you what goes where
