wastegate question and whats this part called! t25 question
well i just bought a t-25 for my homemade turbo setup but i noticed it missing a few things and dont know what they are called
1st whats the piece that bolts up here and has a hose that goes to the intercooler called??where could i get one?

2nd. is it oki for this little wastegate flapper to be out in the open like this?

sorry if these are noob questions but turbo is all new to me and i would greatly appreciate the help and/or advice

I dont think I would use that turbo on my riding lawn mower!! They actually fabbed up the "down pipe" directly to the exhaust housing.... didn't this thrown up any red flags when purchacing... I have now seen it all...

Also like previously stated without that "flapper thingy" or the wastegate valve, routed to the exhaust your car will be extremely loud when the wastegate opens. It also decreases power due to the compressor inlet inhaling those hot burnt gases. I would buy a discharge flange that will route the wastegate gases out the exhaust.
