I need a good visual diagram on how to properly wire a cap into a system.

I'm just wiring in a 1.5f cap. going between a 1500w amp and the battery. I'm running 4ga throughout.

ok, well this one has 3 terminals on it from what I can tell. got the cap used and the third terminal isnt marked...

anyone know what it does?

 

How about a pix of the caps terminal, if there is a gauge on the cap the terminal, [smaller one] is the trigger lead, connect to acc.

I would also connect both the amp and cap grounds to the same spot. 94
