I'm trying to save money, and through this process learn something new by hooking my own system up. I have a couple of questions but this one is the most important. I have an aftermarket h/u, and I'm having trouble trying to figure what wire is the "remote" wire. Anyone have ideas?

Also, any tips and tricks for first time aftermarket audio installers?

The remote output wire is blue w/white stripe and is commonly used to turn on the amp when the HU is turned on. Does your civic have the factory keyless entry?

 

Are you asking for the new HUs control lead(s) or the control lead in the stock radio?
What is the make and model of the HU you got? 94
