Help with Wiring On a Sub
Hello, I have an Infinity Perfect 12.1 that recommends 350 Watts RMS Dual 4OHM VC
I'm using an old Fosgate 750s which puts out
187.5 Watts *2 Channels 4OHM
375 Watts * 2 Channels 2OHM
and 750 Watts * 1 Channel bridged 4OHM
How should I wire the sub to the amp? The bridged 4OHM looks best of course but I don't want to blow my darn sub. Any recommendations?

Well since you have a dvc 4 ohm sub I would reccommend that you get anthor amp. Your sub can be wired at a 8 ohm load or a 2 ohm load. At 8 ohm you will underpower the sub. And at 2 ohm you will be way over powering the sub. Even with the gain turned all the way down at 2 ohm I would watch the speaker for any signs of being over powered. You need to run both voice coil of the sub. There are many debates on this. But I allways play by the rules. If the manufactor says both vc use them. Go with the 2 ohm load and be very carefull on the gains. I say just to look for a new amp or add one more sub to your system. Or wire the sub to a 2ohm load and rock it stereo instead of bridge.

With a 4 OHM bridged mode the amp will put out 750 into that channel, if I run the sub in series with an 8OHM load would that theoretically knock that power down to 375?

yes wirering it at 8 ohms will theoreticaly give you about 400 watts to the sub, and it also gives youthe flexibility to pick up another sub if you want to later
just make sure you wire it right and bridge the amp right, do you know how to wire the sub in series?

There are advantages running at 8 ohms, you will also have about 1x375W RMS into 8 ohms, perfect.
