Default Clutch squeaks, rough peddle

I've got a 92 Integra RS, 170,XXX miles (with cable clutch). I've been having a problem with my clutch for quite some time. The clutch peddle is squeaky inside the car when depressed. I havn't changed the clutch in it so I don't know much about it. The peddle has been getting rough when im gearing up, usually pulling out of first and second gear; sometimes theres a rough clicking before the clutch engages(as if its having a hard time pulling the gears away). Most of the time I have to be crawling(5-10 km/hr) to get the tranny in 1st gear; 2nd and 3rd are sometimes hard to change into if the rpm's arn't correct; even though, the clutch grabs perfectly . Would this be a clutch assembly problem that a new clutch could solve, cable/bracket/peddle assembly problem, or would it be a bigger problem such as a transmission prob. anyone else have this prob with their car or know what could be the problem ?

i have pretty much the same problem with my 89 accord LX. And i've concluded that i need a new clutch, or just a new pressure plate. So im guessing you'd need the same thing...new clutch or new pressure plate..have someone who know their ish look at it too and confirm. oh yea and btw. my peddle squeeks too...its no big deal tho no performance issues with the squeeking..but maybe spray some wd-40? but haha im not sure about that one..just a guess. and yea changing the clutch cable wont do anything for you..i changed my clutch cable and wen i pulled it with my hands it felt soft as hell..but wen it was installed..it was still tough..iono maybe i was sposta grease it up before i installed it but yea...think of changing your pressure plate or the clutch itself..but most likely it'd be just the pressure plate. good luck with that. im trying to get myself a new clutch or pressure plate too..soo hopefully that'll fix our problem we've got with our cars. peace. goodluck

probably your pressure plates.. but what you dont do is mix pressure plates and clutch's etc. you usally get a good grab but very high. that usaly happens with a aftermarket clutch and stock pressure plates though.
