Can't control sub levels from deck
the blue remote wire seems to be in-tact from the deck to the amp, but still, when i try to adjust the sub levels on the deck there is no change. what could be the problem. RCA's work fine, since the subs still work. im running 2, 10" MA audio in a bandpass box with an X-plod amp and a new alpine deck.
mmm im not sure about that, the new deck i have comes with 3 sets of rca outputs. i put them in the top one. but this also happened in my old alpine deck too, and it stopped working while it was still hooked up.

Did you set "subwoofer system to "SUBW SYS2"?
If you are on SYS1 sub volume is controlled by the main volume.

I hate subw sys2. I have mine set on 1. If the bass isn't loud enough for me, I just turn up the volume. That way, I have it sounding balanced at all volumes.

For system 1, bass is turned up evenly with the main volume. For system 2, the bass is louder at lower volumes. As you turn up the main volume, the bass volume eventually evens out with the main volume.
yea system 2 is definately much better. system 1, when the volume is turned way down, the subs still buzz softly with bass and it just sounds sloppy.
Then you have a wiring problem. I have mine on system 1 and I get no noise/buzzing at any volume. With system 2, the bass is louder at low volumes, and maybe that drowns out your buzzing.
