Rough idle, hunting in the revs???
So I was sitting in my car tonight talking on the phone after I got home and this is what I noticed:
It was idling a little more rough than it use to... Just kind of wasn't smooth. WHen I would hold the pedal down and let it rev a little (don't know what RPMs on account of no tach) it would get to the RPM I was holding it at and then hunt a little. Wasn't really dropping too much in the RPMs but I could definitely hear it. What could this be?
Mind you my ECU is throwing code 16 for "fuel injectors" whatever that means. It was throwing this code a while ago, and I reset my ECU and it went away. Not it is back. I took apart my throttle body months ago when it first appeared and the injectors seemed to be spraying fine.
My car is an 89 DX Hatch with 208,000 miles (I know, a lot). Anyone have a clue what the injector code could be meaning and if that is the problem?
Please help... This car use to run so well for its age.
Thanks... DJ
