Default Another qucik tranny axle question !!!! with pic

hey just another little quick question its my first time swaping tranny and i was wondering about this second part of the axle is there a special way to take it out or can i just leave it there while im sliding the tranny out and it will go out cauz i started sliding the tranny already and looks like its gonna be good but just wanted to make sure.

i usually use a very big monkey wrench and wedge it in there and voila! it'll pop right out

Thats your intermediate shaft. Leave it there it wont affect you pulling the trans. If you want it out, unbolt it. There are i think 3 14mm bolts holding it to the block
