This is weird. I thought my pressure plate had broken but it "fixed" itself last night.

Here's my thread I posted a few weeks ago. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1884810
Most believed it to be a broken pressure plate which makes complete sense except for the fact that when I went to nurse the car over to the garage tonight to drop the transmission for a new clutch install it had magically fixed itself. I drove it around for about 10 minutes before it finally started acting a little bit weird again. It was still shifting fine but the clutch pedal take up was constantly changing. I checked the slave cylinder and could find no leaking fluid and my reservoir appears to be pretty full.
Can a pressure plate just half way break lol? My logic is that if something on the pressure plate snapped them that's that and the car would never drive right....not magically start shifting as smooth as silk again. The only thing I can think of is that it would HAVE to be either the slave or master cylinder even though they don't appear to be leaking.
Could a bad throwout bearing cause symptoms like this?

Ive got some issues sometimes where my clutch engagement height changes often. One stop light it will engage at a certain point, and the next stop light it will feel completely different. I have the trans out of the car but didnt closely inspect the clutch yet. A quick glance shows no obvious sign of a problem. I ordered a new throwout bearing since the last one I was using was pretty old and lumpy feeling. Im going to closely inspect the clutch when I remove it (installing a new pilot bearing on the flywheel as well) so if I dont find anything wrong then Ill start looking at the master and slaves. so far I dont have any known leaks. Im hoping its just the TO bearing. Ill report back anything I find (or dont find).
Try replacing the Brake fluid. Look at the fluid and see if it is black. If so, that should be a sign that moisture is in the fluid. I have been replacing mine ever since I bought it new, around every six months. I changed the clutch out at 43k and have 9k on the action clutch, and still I change the fluid to keep it shifting smoothly.
My car has inconsistent clutch engagement too, although no other shifting problems. Certain conditions seem to exaggerate the problem. I notice it most when the A/C is on for some reason. Also, if I sit at a light with the clutch in for more than a couple of seconds it seems to engage right off the floor.
I suspect this is a hydraulic issue, as I think a bad throwout bearing causes a sort-of notchy feel in the pedal travel, although I could be mistaken about that.
