bad ecu
I have a 97 obd2 GSR motor in my 95 hatch; I ran the motor with JDM and USDM obd2 p72 ECU without getting any check engine light.
I want to use an USDM OBD1 p72 ECU for smog purpose, but I'm getting code 23 , the problems could be knock sensor/ECU/open wire circuit.
I have read on here from other posts saying, "Blah blah blach...most of the time the problem is the knock sensor". Common sense dictate that the USDM OBD1 p72 ECU is messed up. What is your opinion on my situation?

From this post I don't think my obd1 p72 ecu is tossed.
