not sure... but why would it be on that? are you sure thats what it is... why it would be lacking power like that? the one guy at autozone that running a coil like that can burn up stock wires... would that have anything to do with it... or the hole i drilled letting in moisture?

****... so how would i figure out the problem? check the ecu? how can i tell codes... im new at this one... just count how many times the led blinks and find the code?
if it's a second long blink thats a 10, if it's a fast blink then it's a 1, example is if you get 2 long blinks that equals to 20, and if you get 2 fast blinks that equals to a 2, understand? you can go here to look up ecu codes:

i have a heavily modified 99 ex with the d16y8. i have the msd ignition with the external coil and i have had no problems. seal the hole with silicone. i slit the rubber gasket and tucked the wire through and i have had no problems. make sure that you didnt mess up your timing when you had your dist cap off. it will run like **** if you timing is off. it is about 12-14 degrees advance depending on your setup. email me at sk82liv247@aol.com. i am curious to know what your other mods are. http://www.geocities.com/optimusracing p.s. if your check engine light came on, some automotive parts stores such as Autozone with check it for free. they have a tool that plugs right into a harness under your dash. it wouldnt hurt to pick up a repair manual when you are there. it was the best $15 i ever spent.
