Default shifting stiff

ok I just toke out my engine and tranny together to change it out well when I put it back in and hooked everything up and tried changing gears while car is off it is really stiff i also changed clutch and flywheel well can anyone help me out thanks. my car is a 1994 Honda Civic Ex with a b16a

stiff as in it wont go in gear? make sure everything is hooked up rite.. i bet its something minor u just over looked

You probably over-tightened the shift linkage. Try loosening the nut on the bottom of the shift lever a little bit. See if that improves things...

Honestly man, its tough to say the b16 motor is pretty simple. I remember changing my clutch in my vw corrado and i had the same problem. I then looked it over and the shift linkage was way to stiff, like Chim Chim said just try loosening the shift linkage and see what happends. GOod luck though!!
