Default free power?

hey ht,
im not only into sport compacts but muscle as well? is there anything you can do for hondas that give you free horsepower like taking off things or bypassing them. For example, possibly an egr blockoff or something along that nature. Any tips or hints would be aprreciated. Or even tell me how dumb of a thread this is

dam people chill, i know if you route the coolant lines off the throttle body you can stop the loss of hp by keeping it cool.

EDIT: don't forget the blinker fluid.

Getting rid of AC & PS along with stripping the car are about the only "free power" you can get out of our little econoboxes.

Check your VeeTaK fluid. I heard if you dont keep the fluid at "full" Veetak will only engage a lil, not all the way, remember every little counts dude

No, nothing you can do to "free up" power like you can with a V8.

You can try basic bolt-ons like intake/header/exhaust but they won't net you a lot, especially if you're rocking a d-series motor.

Some people say you can remove the PS system and that will free up power, but it won't. The difference in power will be not noticeable none-the-less make a difference on a dyno.

AC will bog ur car down, but that's 100% controllable.

Nothing you can really do to free up HP though . Yeah, I had to suffer through the same realization when I had to learn about fuel injected I-4's off of working on carbed V8's .

Here's some people who can point you in the right direction in terms of getting some power out of your D-series:

Turbonetics
Garret
Jackson Racing
Greddy
Zex
Nitrous Express

The list goes on. Just call them up, they can really help, I'm serious.
