i use these and just about everybody i know uses these. I would rather not change my plugs every 3K. If you switched to iridiums would they last longer and if so how much longer??

I don't drive my car much, it's a weekender. I change mine prob. once every other month. Plugs are cheap, you can buy a box and not spend $20

not a baller like you dave, but usually it is like this since i never well almost never make it past first round, new plugs, 3 rds qualifying, new plugs, lose. then same plugs for qualifying, and new ones for eliminations. unless there is a problem. but they get removed every round and checked.
i've got 20k without changing my BKR7E's...and they seemed fine before they were changed, and the performance didnt change with the new plugs.
i'll be waiting no more than 10k to change the next ones..just for safety.
i ran it rich too, high 10s AFR wise
