Also http://www.vtec.net did some great R&D with the Si in both Handling and Power improvements... do some searching on there to find their posts on their Project Si.

Theres some decent info here:

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1822646

Common complaints about the new si:

3rd gear notchy at times (using different fluid has helped most people)
rear speaker tray rattles (fixable)
dbw (some people just dont like it)

Overall its really a great car for the price.

Argh, I have DBW in my 2K7 Rabbit, it's really odd actually. Sometimes when you floor it, there is a slight pause for a second and then things progress as normal.

I know it might cause probs down the road. Some guys at VAG Motorsport Turbo'd a Rabbit with DBW and it wont drive properly because the DBW is throwing a CEL (Check Engine Light) and it won't engage the clutch (It just keeps slipping).

I don't know how Honda's DBW behaves, but from experience with mine, I kinda want the cable method back.

it honestly isnt as bad as a lot of people make it out to be. It's not as responsive as my 99si, but it's not bad enough to make me complain! Everything else about the car makes up for it!

The throttle response is actually partially based on driving conditions / styles. If you've been driving like a grandma all day and floor it, you get some hesitation. If the car is driven hard for a bit, the ECU realizes and throttle response is improved. Beat on it for a few minutes and see if the throttle response doesn't improve
