Hey guys, I saw some prosport gauges and they look great, definitely the look I'm going for without a massive price tag but I want toknow how reliable they are. I'm more interested in accuracy than look, but if these have both, I'll definitely be getting these. Does anyone have any experience with these, and if so, would you reccomend them to others? Let me know what you know, thx

I have the prosport boost guage, its very accurate and looks good.
They are mostly made for Subarus, after installing them like daily on customers cars I decided to put one in my car.

 

sweet, I was thinking of gettin a boost Peak/Hold/Warning gauge, oil pressure gauge, and water temp gauge, possibly one more but I'm not sure yet, I jsut don't wanna get a gauge that wont be accurate

 

Anyone else try these out?

I am thinking about picking up the boost / and oil pressure gauge to go along with my PLX wideband/gauge combo.

I love the fact that the gauges have warning systems built into them. So if I was to go above the boost set point, it would warn me.

Also on the oil pressure gauge, it would warn me as well, if I was to loose any oil pressure. Pretty rad if you ask me!

Anyone else have any input on the reliability/accuracy of these units?

 

l have boost and oil preussure you get your moneys worth they are both electrical ive had the oil one for like 5 months and the boost for like 3 but they come with everything you would need besides a oil filter adapter and they work great boost gauge reads steady everytime

 

I just installed 2 in an LS1 RX7. Personally, I think they are great, a little on the bright side, but they function well.


Oil pressure and water temp in the OE location

 

I have the Mechanical boost and the EGT both in blue. I think they look great and seem to be prety acurate. Atleast the boost gauge is. I haven't seen the egt go past 1000* yet, but I only drive short trips. I'll post some pics this week when I get them in the cluster.

 

For the people that have used this prosport gauge, can you change the bulb out to a different color? Or are we limited to the color they give us? I ask because I would like a red prosport boost gauge to replace my plain boring autometer boost gauge. I would like to keep my red light theme going. Thanks in advance.

I know that my gauges are colored through the lense not the bulb. Here is a picture of the EGT gauge without the power to it so you can see the color. I will have a pic of my working set up tonight hopefully. It is all in the car but I need to make a faceplate or something because I don't like the way the work turned out. I also need to cover the 3rd hole.
