Default intake problem (nifty diagram included)

i was giving a injen intake. the problem is, i don't have the little o-ring type thing, that fits the air.. thing.. to the body of the intake. (i knew i couldn't explain it.. so i drew you a picture)

it's a good picture.. yes..



where can i get one? can i make one?

there is no o-ring but there is a plug.
its for OBD2 cars...

Just plug it and run a breather filter.

That hose connects the two, you can buy a hose that fits or use a breather filter.

Problem solved.

are you referring to the Intake Air Temperature sensor as the "air plug thing." if you are then you can get one of those O-rings gourments from pepboys/kragen/napa/autozone so the sensor will fit nice and tight on the intake

try using the firewall grommets for wires so they dont get cut up.

you could probably use a small piece of rubber hose too, just make sure the diameters are the right size

that's what i was thinking.. i'm going to a couple local car stores to see if they have anything.. if not.. home depot time. lol
