depends. I would recommend no less than 12lbs for a daily driver. When you are in traffic, any less than that and it just gets a little annoying. I'm basing my opinion from driving both 12lbs and 8lbs and liking my 12lbs alot better.

for track use, its fine to get a really light one.

I've got an 8lb fidanza flywheel on my prelude and it was my daily driver. I didn't think it was too big of an adjustment to drive. It was mainly the stage 2 clutch that was the pain.

I've just, about 1 min. ago , ordered a Competition Clutch Stage II and their Lightweight Flywheel. The Flywheel weighs 13.79 lbs. Still 8.1 lbs lighter then OEM. I think this is the right setup for me (having H22 I/H/E and some other mods, but nothing special at the moment).

This weight is ideal for daily-driving and sometimes kicking his ***. But for me it's important to drive is "like" oem, so not holding the gass constantly when I'm near the trafficlight.

About the clutch. Reconsider the Exedy. A lot of ppl didn't liked it, also the quality seems to be far less then a Clutchmaster or a Comptition Clutch. I've got my combo for 499 shipped

Good luck

Stage II isn't near OEM feeling. and will work your leg muscle like a Bitch.

Exedy is more like oem and would probably suit your needs alot better.

while you're changing your clutch, it'd be a good idea to change your rear main seal.

I just installed an Exedy clutch and a Fidanza flywheel a couple of days ago! I did notice a bit of a difference but nothing drastic that would require a change of my driving style. When it comes to daily driving, it's the clutch you should be worried about and not the flywheel. Fidanza gets a from me (even for daily driving).

i have used the Clutchmasters aluminum flywheel with an ACT HDSS, ACT HDR6 and now use a Competition clutch 12 lb with the Competition Clutch stage 3 clutch.

The Clutchmasters flywheels was fine, very light, very fast revs and i had to relearn how to shift a bit quicker with the faster rev drops.

The Competition Clutch flywheel is great, though it is only 6 lbs lighter than the stock 18 lbs flywheel I had.

I have never seen an accord or prelude flywheel that weights more than 19 lbs. I have also never seen a Competition Clutch or Clutchmsster Clutch that did not have similar to stock pedal feel with stage 1, stage 2, stage 3 or stage 4 setups....
