Just wondering how the clutch install went with you using the 01-04 civics instead? Did you run into any problems? I am in the same boat as you were and i want to make sure it fits before i pull the tranny out this weekend.

actually flywheels and clutches are interchangeable from 88-04 or 05. my uncle runs a parts store, same part numbers all the way through.

Thanks, so why does exedy use two different part number for them if they are interchangeable?

well if you look at oem clutches side by side, the 96-00 is smaller diameter than the 88-95. but they bolt up the same and are interchangeable.
