i am also wondering about the dimensions of an exhaust manifold for the d-series
i am a mechanical engineering student and would like to design my own manifold but w/o the hassle of having to mic. out my block to get the dimensions.

full race uses sch40 forged stainless steel tubing, that is FTW
peakboost uses SCH40 ss however their manifolds have been known to crack, i dont ever remember hearing a FR manifold cracking, but it just goes to show you sch40 isnt exactly the best if peakboost manifolds crack, so imagine anythnig less

Like I said before, its not the pipe that cracks its the welds. Full-race uses a robtic tig don't forget.

I dont think ive even heard of too many PB mani's cracking, and i do recall a small amount of people cracking the FR mani.

actually there is a thread where a guy is trying to get peak boost to warrent his cracked manifold.
and in the post a few ppl said their manifold cracked to.
