Default tranny problem

I have a d16y8 and just recently I've been having a weird problem with my transmission.

When the car is off if shifts gears perfect no notchynes or anything. When i turn the car on it is real notchy and tough to get into gears. To put it in reverse takes about 3 tries. This notchy ness gets harder as the car warms up. Almost to where is nearly impossible to get into first.

What I have done:
-checked tranny fluid (havent changed it yet) - good
-checked clutch fluid - good
-master cylinder and slave cylinder were replaced about 60.000 miles ago (there is 130,000 miles on the clock now)

what i have in there now is an act xtreme pp and act organic clutch disc with act streetlite flywheel.

I think its the pp that may be going bad. I don't know. Clutch still grips like hell. Was put in same time as clutch MC and SC.

any ideas?

I am having almost the same problem. I just replaced the Master and the Slave but no difference. The car will shift no prob while the motor is off. However with the motor running it will not go into a single gear. Hopefully someone can help us.

thanks,

(I have a D15)

sounds like you might be losing the tranny, either that or the clutch isn't fully disengaging when you push the pedal in. I don't think it's that tho because you said it gets worse when the motor warms up. It's most likely the synchronizers like hatch said. When did the problems start? - as soon as you put that other clutch set up in? or out of the blue?

**update**

i was driving the car around the neighboorhood last night and i noticed that when i had the car in first gear with clutch pedal fully depressed the car would slowly move off by itself. WTF!!!!!

This is pointing me futher towards the pressure plate as being the culprit. Its as if pressure is not being fully applied to disengage the clutch.

(thanks choppedndropped)
