Default solid combo?

im buying another subwoofer set up soon and just would like some input on the sub/amp combo i am looking to buy. at first i was thinking an alpine type x 12 in sub powered by an alpine mrd-1005 but now im leaning more toward two alpine type r 1222d subs instead, powered by the same amp. they will be wired for a 2 ohm load on the amp in a ported box. my seats will be folded down and the port and subs will be facing the rear of the car. sound like an ok setup? its right in my price range and ive owned a type r sub before and liked it alot.

Then I would go with what you like and can afford.

If you want to look at something different check out JL Audio... http://mobile.jlaudio.com/prod...d=134 94
