if a peakboost mani craks ???
Well i bought one from a first owner, it did crack where the flange meets the runners. Now i'm not sure if they have some kind of warrantie against this and since i'm in europe, does it make sense for me to send it to the states, or do i have to deal with it localy?
i'm pretty sure it will be alot easier and faster if you just took it to a local machine shop and had it welded up...shouldnt cost that much.. bump for peakboost making its way around the world..
Yep i'll do that. I just thought i'd be waisting his time and maybe someone else had a similar situation.
But before i get flamed for not doing anything about it, i'll contact him.

mine cracked too. (around the wastegate flange) ended up having a local shop fix it to save on the hassle of shipping it out and time w/o having a car to drive.

I just asked their dealer, but havent got any response yet. I'm sorry to say that i don't know the screen name of peakboost on here? I know i saw it once but my attempts to search have failed badly. So what's his screen name?
that isnt saying to o much for peak boost as they used 8 gauge steel, and having that crack definitly says something for either the design or the materials used to make the manifold, which isnt saying much if quite a few ppl have had them crack
crap, when i googled it i expected to find it, but their site is actually http://cheapturbo.stores.yahoo.net/ that's why it didn't catch my eye.
Thanks!
Thanks!

that seems like a better and time saving solution. thats why i prefer one piece cast iron SS manifold..
2 weeks i hope you're not driving the car around like that.. you can melt anything around that leak or overheat if its hot weather..

sorry we've been a bit busy here at the shop to get up on the forums.
for any warranty issues or claims, feel free to contact us toll free 877-23-TURBO or the dealer you purchased the item from.
we've had very few warranty claims (less than 10 in 5 years) and tend to replace them rather than repair.
