Default help !!! Radio code

I had to replace my gf's batt the other day and now we don't have the radio code. I called the dealer and they want $40....
can anyone help me plz...
2000 honda accord
radio S/N: F91114391
I will send anyone $5 via paypal
if you can get me the working code

Any help would be greatly appreciated

they lie, it should be free, call the parts dept of that place and show proof of ownership (title) with the SN and you should get it if not, call american honda and own them

keep calling different dealerships till they do it for free. mines was free and the call took about 20 seconds

yea...i always thought it was free...stock radios are a pain cuz of that code...took me like 10 tries before my code was accepted...

Yes, it is free. They really are trying to scam you. They did that to me too. I took my radio out and called them to ask if I can bring in my radio, and they told me it had to be in the car, then I said, okay, I am going to bring it there to take it out at the dealership then. They told me I had to pay them $80 to take out the radio, and 'they are charging me to remove the radio' and not for the code. Those crooks. The next dealership I called gave it to me right over the phone though.

I called to get my radio code and just gave them the serial #, they didn't ask for proof of ownership or anything....kinda sketchy

can someone give me the # to a dealership where they give the code over the phone?

all the places by where i live, i have to bring in the car. problem is, i work til 5:30, and they close at 5

As far as proof of owenship goes, there's no way to prove anything, I dont ask any questions. Dont ask, dont tell....
