Default HELP Anti-theft code problems HELP

I just bought a GSR cd player from a fellow Honda-techer. He sent the security code of 11465 with it. After hooking up the radio I entered the code and it didn't work. I called Honda with the serial number and they gave me a code of 12225. That did not work either. I contacted the guy I bought the radio from and he called Honda with his VIN. They gave him code 45413 and guess what, that didn't work either. I am really stumped on this one. Sorry for another code thread but I searched and could not find anything. I know someone will be able to help me on here. PLEASE HELP ME. Thanks
Nick

You have already done just about everything that can be done, try this, remove the HU from the dash, take the HU and your car with proof of ownership to your local Honda dealer, go to the service dept. with the HU and have them look the code up, and then check it right away, I am sure the service department will bend over backwards to help a potential customer. 94

No, the only thing that will work is properly entering the right code 94

Went to Honda. They told me the cd player is bad. Is there anything else I can do here? There has to be a code that would work, I don't want to give up on it. Some help me please.

Is there another way to find the serial number? I heard something about pressing the 1, 6, and power buttons to get the s/n but it didnt work for me. I'm beginning to think the serial number isn't right. Someone please help.

What code# did they give you at Honda when you went there, was it the same as one of the other 3 that you have?
Although I have had a lot of wrong codes for Honda/Acura, from customers, or what customers got from the previous owner, and even off the code card that came with the car, but I have NEVER gotten the wrong code # when I have taken the HU to a Honda or Acura dealer, the HU may have had a problem, [radio or CD didn't work] but I could always get the HU to "turn on"
That would be what the dealer meant by, the cd player is bad, the code chip is bad, and that is repairable, the last one we had repaired cost the customer over $450 CAN. , it was a double din "Bose" out of an Acura Legend, to replace the HU was over $2000 from Acura.
I am not sure what it would cost to repair your HU, but up here $450 will get you one hell of a nice aftermarket one installed in your car. 94

Well the service guy just sorta blew me off. He ran the s/n from the sticker on the HU and it was the same one he gave me before. After I told him that I already tried that code he just told me the HU must be junk. He had no intention of helping me, just getting me out of his hair. I can't believe that there is anything wrong with it, I just think I don't have the right code, and at this point I am out of ideas about how to get it.

I can't believe he just blew you off like that, I would write a letter to the owner, saying how you are a new owner of a used Honda and the first problem you came to them about and how you felt you were treated by the service guy, and maybe you should be taking your Honda someplace else for service.
Now as I stated before, the S/N on the bottom of the HU is the proper one, [unless it has been changed for some reason] and if it does not work, then the service guy was right, there is something wrong with HU, I know of no other way to get the S/N, and the only other thing I can think of to try is another Honda dealer, but then they would be looking at the same info. 94
