question about vtec

Default question about vtec

ok before i ask..i have searched all ready thank you, and have not found an answer to my question..i will be swapping a d15b into my dx eg hatch..can i use a si/ex harness so that everything on the motor including vtec components plug up nicely..and just wire from plug a of the shock tower to the ecu..i pretty sure i can just want to be sure before i go get one...

yes you can and do want to use that harness. if your car is 92 you dont need to worry about any more wireing... if it is 93-95 then u will have to run 2 more wires from the shock tower to your ECU...

next time search harder its out there

look moron i know waht you just told me and listen dickwad i posted i already have searched all i found out is to wire from shock to ecu from shock to motor ..i know all this but wanted to make sure i could plug up everything to make it neat with a ex/si harness

yes your harness will plug and play neatly but , will still need to run 2 wires unless you have the 92 model. pretty easy

You obviously knew people were going to tell you to search, and that's why said "I searched blah blah blah" (just like every other person that says that). Next time you should just buy the helms shop manual and get all your answers there. Then you can sit in your room & yell at your book for telling how to do something right...
