B16A SiRII Swap
ill be doing my first swap in a week or 2. im going to be putting in a b16a sir2 obd1 motor into my 95 civic dx d15b7. using the p30 ecu.
ive done some searching but havent found a bold answer to my question.
most people have told me the engines harness plugs right into the cars plugs. is this true? is my car already wired up for the vtec? or will have to wire up teh vtec solenoid manually? i basically want to know if any kinda of wiring will be needed.
thanks in advance.

Re: B16A SiRII Swap (Mr.RHTuner)
unless your car is a 92 you will have to wire the vtec on the ecu side... all 92 model civics are prewired for vtec... just use the ex/si wiring harness... everything will plug up... you will need to wire in the knock sensor and add the wires on the ecu side for the vtec and youre done

Re: B16A SiRII Swap (neutron91)
i know all about this swap, so you can ask me about it.
b16a II into 95 civic dx, you can use the dx harness, but:
-you will have to wire vtec. piece of cake to wire vtec solenoid & vtec pressure wires.
-you will also need to wire the knock sensor, since your p30 ecu will look for it.
-might need a map sensor if your motor doesn't have one.
that's all i can think of right now.
