Default 1st gen engine swap ?'s

Ok here's what I want to do...
D16?? DOHC (Black/ZC) into '86 CRX HF

Here's what I need to know...
Usually information on this swap focus' on the D16A6 with the brown valve cover so what is the difference between the Brown and Black as far as swapping goes? How much more would be invloved to install a Black or a ZC as apposed to an early Brown model?

I'm allready working on the fuel injection part, but I was more concerned about the drivetrain and mounting. Well I'm also concerned about the engine wiring. What ECU wiring harness should I buy? I'm just hoping that alot of the parts are the same. If anyone can help please do so...

the big prob w/ a black top zc in a first gen is the drivers side mount is off...that's why people use the olive top...b/c it bolts in easily..

Make sure you get a ZC from a JDM integra. It has the drivers side mount bolts on the front of the block, and you use the CRX mount in it's place. You either need to notch the timing belt cover, or the mount itself. Check the SCC article from December, it's in there. If you are prepared to do some work on the wiring inside the vehicle, get an 88/89 teg harness, ECU, and cluster. If you like your wiring adventures to be in the engine bay, get an 86/87 CRX SI harness and 86/87 teg ECU. You could do like I did and use a teg harness, but then you again have wiring inside to deal with. If you go on my board, wilq has done the 88/89 teg into a 1G, the black top ZC would be the same. Tranny could be ZC or teg, I have an 87 teg tranny on mine. Tranny mount is from the teg, the rear supposedly can be either teg or CRX, I used teg.
