Engine shutting off while driving
Can anyone advise on the situation:
I have a 94 honda accord and recently it started shuttin off while on the highway. I mean i was doing speeds of 75-90 and in the fast lane at that. The engine just shuts off and after I pull over it cranks right back and start to roll again. I have had the main relay replace and the o2 sensors; this problem is still occuring. Anyone with experience on this situation.

When the engine shuts off do you have the Oil and Batt light on?
If not I would suspect the electrical part of the ignition switch.
Also the Tach will just drop to Zero.
By any chance, do you have a big long or heavy keychain that swings around as you drive?

Follow your sprk plug cables to the round distributor, which can be pulled out from the engine as a unit, dude, after loosening some nuts.
Make sure to note the exact position of it in regard to the engine, so you can replace it the same way. This is also true for the rotor -- mark its direction before you pull the unit out.
Don't forget to replace the rubber o-ring on the shaft, otherwise you will have an oil leak.
Those babies are not cheap. A quick solution may be to pull one out at a salvage yard -- a proper match, natch. Unless you are loaded....
