Deleting the ABS on a 95 GSR - The easy and cheap(er) way.
After being around a few of my friends at work and watching them run brake lines on their cars a think I may be able to finally get rid of my constantly pumping, piece of junk ABS.
This spring break I will be pulling my motor and trans, and giving it a new set of pistons and a clutch, tucking some wires, shaving some spots, and repainting it B92 to match the rest of the car. I figured while that is out I mine as well remove the ABS.
I have read threads on here. Many people use the RS or 98+ MCs. I do not think this is nessacary unless you are wanting to use (expensive) factory lines.
O'Reilly Auto Parts, as well as many other parts houses sell hard lines by the foot, pre-flared, fittings already on them. This may not be as baller as AN, but i serves the same purpose.
My intentions are to move all metal lines, ABS, ABS wiring, sensors, and the ABS computer. Run and bend new hard lines to the Integra RS or Civic 40/40 prop. valve, run hard lines to a set of techna-fit braided lines to the factory caliper (May do the Legend swap). With the new empty dirty space I will weld the seams, grind smooth, apply some sort of filler and paint, along with the rest of the bay.
I do not see a need for changing Mcs, or buying factory metal lines. I plan to get this done for the cost of a Prop valve plus the lines. I will post pics, but this will be next month.
Any comments or suggestions?
Anyone want to tell me why it will or will not work?

What makes your ABS such a piece of junk? I have ABS in my S2000 and even on track days I almost never engage it. Threshold braking is where it's at.
do you have access to a schema of the brake lines in a non-ABS car to compare to the ones of your ABS equipped vehicle? I would be curious to know if they are, in fact, ran in different locations.
