i havent seen it asked yet , but is there any benifit to filling the spot in the intake port thats shaped for the injector path.

i cant only imagaine that it would hinder flow somewhat (mabye not alot) but enough to talk about it lol .

i have done it to a sohc head running carbs and a bseries head running itb's. i have never tested back to back with and without it, but i would rather have it filled in than not. if you cant or dont have access to welding it shut look into Devcon marine epoxy. maybe drill and tap a small hole and thread an allen headed stud in the notch to stake the epoxy. have a cup with water to dip your fingers into when you apply the epoxy or you will be sorry

yah that is tig welded, but i edited my above post and gave you some more info.
their website is http://www.devcon.com
the stuff i have used was green marine epoxy, but i cant seem to find it on their site. they might have another epoxy better suited for use in a cylinder head if you call them, but the stuff i have used was very rugged. i have also read about people clearcoating the port to protect the epoxy from fuels such as methanol, although i have never done so

ive had bad luck with diy itb and jb weld .
and i didnt really want to weld cause they might not always be on the motor(the itbs)

wonder if some of the head porters could chime in here to see how much it might help

subscribed.

I'd love to hear some input on this. Wondering if it's worth my time to do with my performer x using the secondary injector locations.
