Comes with the HID mountings... but not sure if I have to drill holes in my engine bay or something.

 

Like most people, they mount them directly below the headlights.

 

is there a small opening there or something? are you sure it wont fall off while im driving?

 

I never did HID before, but I looked at some installs. Some use zip tie. Find a way...

 

hmm... doesnt look i can put the zip ties anywhere in a safe area.

take off the bumper and mount it on the bumper support

 

i use zip ties

 

can you show me pix where you zip them??

i could put it in the bumper, but i dont want too much hassle.

honestly any place that was secure I zip tied it to.
Been on for 2 yrs now, no issues.

 

hmm, i guess i can try and find good holes around the engine bay. but where should i keep the ballasts away from?

 

I put one near the battery.

 

double sided sticky tape works also
