Default turbo manifold for crx

Hey guys, i'm looking to upgrade my current setup in my b16 crx. I'm running a log manifold with ext. gate and crush bent 2.5" downpipe.

I think i'd like to find a manifold like this:

Anybody run something like this in crx? Do they make these manifolds with the wastegate pointing off to the side? Because it looks like there would be clearance issues with i/c or radiator.

Unless you use a half sized radiator, you will run into clearance issues. Have you thought about using an InlinePro manifold?

I've used 2 different versions of that mani on my CRX. Both worked great. The one I currently have has the wastegate facing forward, the 1st one I had had the wastegate off to the side. You will have to use a 1/2 sized radiator either way it goes. If you get one with the wastegate off to the side then you will need to run a slim fan as a pusher. I've got pics of both somewhere.

I've considered the inline pro, and still havent ruled it out as an option. The other thing i forgot to mention is i'm using a pwr custom dual backdoor intercooler. Ideally i'd like to get the compressor output as close to the i/c inlet as i can, but its a 30x8 so its gonna be tough to throw the turbo over that far...?

I have a 77 civic rad in there now and i get hot on the highway, so i may be upgrading to the full race rad soon. Any pics u can find for me autoworks would be great man!

Front wastegate, sits right behind the bumper support (1/2" clearance)

I'll find a pic of my other one

It works pretty good except that i overheat on the highway. It was 2" shorter than the eg so i can just about close my hood w/o it hitting.

Heres my current setup, but i had to make a loop of piping about 2 feet long to hit the intercooler. I wanna get that turbo moved over about 2" so it can be lined right up with ic once i clock it 90 degrees

Try using a 95-99 Neon radiator. Half size and it clears the hood. Fits very well. I use it on my race car, works great. (However, I do have an electric water pump too.)

Have any pics of that setup?

I think i'm just gonna fork out for the full-race radiator to compliment my tractionbar. Just wanna find a manifold that will fit in there well enough to fit the tial and go 3" dp

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1863114 <-- There's a couple of pics of my set-up in this thread. Not real good shots of the radiator, but you can kind of get an idea.

I'm using a mini ram and neon radiator as well. The mini ram is made by South florida performance, but you get the idea.

one thing I liked about this mini ram is the wastegate elbow comes out of the collector, which means the wastegate is placed just perfectly for this chassis. I have tons of pics so if you need any more just let me know.
