Default *still searching* but input needed please...

I've got a buddy with a integra ls, and he's looking to do a build. We're trying to figure out the best way to do a build in his car. Wither it be an engine swap, or build his ls. I dont really know a lot about integras (im a prelude guy) but im posting for him since he doesnt have a SN on here.

He's got about $3000, and is trying to make at least 250whp. Can some of you teggy guys point us in the right direction of which parts we should use to build this project. We plan on having a local shop put all the pieces together, but basically, which pieces should we use.

Well I've seen 250 in a h22, and thought maybe he could swap one of those in.

to buy an h22 and squeeze 250whp out of it will cost way more than $3000. it would be a good project if you have the time, money ,and patience and youd have a setup that the average person doesn't have. turbo is the quick way to 250 but it's not always a piece of cake either. Don't cheap out even if you are on a budget and do your research.

boosting the LS motor is the way to go. LS blocks are relatively solid for a stock block.
